If you’re ready to move beyond the basics and step into the world of results-driven esthetic treatments, the Advanced Esthetics Program at the American Institute of Beauty (AIB) in Largo and Bradenton, Florida is your next move. This program is designed for future professionals who want to work with professional-grade technologies, advanced facial techniques, and treatment planning centered on real results. From microcurrent and oxygen infusion facials to advanced chemical peel formulations and pre/post-op skin care support, you’ll learn how to tailor services for a variety of skin needs. Guided by experienced educators in our on-campus spa environment, you’ll build the technical confidence and client communication skills needed for today’s med-spa, plastic surgery offices, wellness centers, boutique facial studios and more!

What Can I Learn In AIB’s Advanced Esthetics Program?
Our Advanced Esthetics program first starts off with teaching the fundamentals. We believe that a strong foundational understanding of skin care is the perfect base for building your advanced knowledge. First, you’ll begin learning the basics, taught over 300 training hours, to include standard facials, skin care analysis, lash/eyebrow tinting, extractions, hair removal, product knowledge, and facial machines such as microdermabrasion, high frequency, and the ultrasonic skin scrubber.
After this, you’ll progress onto more advanced skills such as Jessner and TCA skin peels, lymphatic drainage massage, plastic surgery pre and post-op treatments, microcurrent facials, oxygen facials, and more! You’ll round out your time at AIB with career-building education in marketing and social media, resume creation, business training, and professionalism.

The Advanced Esthetics program is 600 clock hours. During that time, you’ll start building a foundation of basic skin care skills, techniques, and services. Then, you’ll progress into medical-aesthetic treatment techniques designed to elevate your skill set and set you apart in the field.
At our Largo and Bradenton campuses, you can finish your Advanced Esthetics education in as little as five months*. In less than a year, you could be stepping into a career you feel proud of while helping clients feel confident, restored, and radiant in their own skin.

At our St. Petersburg and Largo campuses, the Advanced Esthetics program is offered with flexible scheduling options designed to fit your life. Whether you’re looking for a full-time day schedule or need a part-time day or evening option, we’re here to help you find the right balance between school, work, and home. If evenings work best for your lifestyle, our night classes may be exactly what you’re looking for.
At our Bradenton campus, we currently offer full-time day and part-time day schedules. We continue to grow and adapt based on student needs, and we’re dedicated to helping you choose the schedule that works best for you.
