Alexis is the Financial Aid Officer at the Largo Campus and has been part of the AIB team for almost a year! She brings over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, obtaining her Cosmetology license along the way. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Kent State University. Alexis says the most rewarding part of her role is helping people realize that going to school is possible for them because financial aid can be the turning point between staying where you are and completely changing your life!

Alexis loves the beauty industry because there is always something new to learn, grow from, and stay inspired by. She enjoys being part of an environment that is constantly evolving and full of opportunity!

In her spare time, Alexis enjoys reading, caring for her plants, and getting creative with crafts. She’s also a big fan of aquariums and loves learning about history! At home, she has two pets: Lola, her mini dachshund, and Kiwi, a kitten she adopted from a shelter last year.
