Alicia is the night Phase I Barber and Cosmetology Educator at the St. Pete Campus and has been part of the AIB Team for almost six months! She brings an incredible 33 years of experience in the beauty industry and also holds a diploma in Business Administration. Alicia began her journey in beauty school in 1992 and stepped into education as quickly as she could three years later in 1995, showing her long-standing passion for the industry and for teaching others.

Alicia loves everything about the beauty industry, especially the opportunity to pay it forward. She is passionate about being a source of encouragement for her students, understanding firsthand what it’s like to be your own biggest supporter while working toward your goals. She takes pride in helping future professionals believe in themselves and pursue careers where they can truly thrive.

In her spare time, Alicia enjoys reading, spending time in nature, relaxing in her hammock, listening to music, dancing, and making memories with her grandbabies. Her vibrant personality and love for life shine through in everything she does!

Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Alicia began beauty school in Cleveland, Ohio before continuing her journey in Tampa, Florida. Her career has taken her across states, all in pursuit of her passion for the beauty industry.
