Clinical Skin Care Program FAQs

Before you enroll in any educational program, you’ll want to know the details of what you’re going to be learning and the logistics behind getting enrolled. At AIB, we want to provide you with the information you need to take your future career into your own hands.

How Long is the Clinical Skin Care Program?

The Clinical Skin Care program is 720 clock hours. During that time you’ll start building a foundation of basic skin care skills, techniques, and services. Then, you’ll advance on to learning more clinical applications and techniques to set yourself apart.

How Long Will It Take to Complete the Program?

You can complete your clinical skin care education at our Largo campus in as little as five months*! You could be on your way to a rewarding career in under a year!

What Schedules is the Program Offered In?

At AIB, we believe that your education should be a part of your life, not an obstacle. We know that many of our students are looking to add their education into a lifestyle they’re already living. Veterans’ Training

We are approved to offer veterans’ training by the Veterans Administration. A variety of veterans’ training benefits can be used at AIB, including your POST-9/11 GI Bill®. You love to help others, let us help you make it your career here in Florida!

Our Clinical Skin Care program first starts off with teaching the fundamentals. We believe that a strong foundational understanding of skin care is the perfect base for building your advance knowledge. Instruction begins with the following taught over 300 training hours:

After you’ve been well-versed in the fundamentals, we can start instruction in more advanced skills like:

What’s the Difference Between a Skin Care Specialist and a Clinical Skin Care Specialist?

We offer both Clinical Skin Care and Fundamental Skin Care programs. We know that you may be wondering what the differences between them are. Here’s what you should know about each:

Fundamental Skin Care

  • Teaches skin care fundamental skills, techniques, and services.
  • Teaches business and networking skills.
  • Is taught over 300 training hours.
