At American Institute of Beauty (AIB), beauty isn’t just about what we create — it’s about what we give. Every year, our AIB family comes together to make a difference through our annual Cut Out Hunger Food Drive, a heartfelt tradition that has been helping local families for over two decades. 

Last year marked the 20th anniversary of this incredible initiative, and thanks to the generosity of our future professionals, staff, and clients, we collected more than 2,000 pounds of food to help feed our neighbors during the holidays. That remarkable milestone proved what we’ve always known — when our community comes together, we can make a real impact. 

Even in the face of challenges like the aftermath of two back-to-back hurricanes, our AIB family showed resilience, compassion, and unity. We are endlessly grateful for the kindness that made last year’s drive such a success and inspired us to continue this important mission.  

This Year’s Drive: November 4th – November 7th

We’re thrilled to announce that our 2025 Cut Out Hunger Food Drive will take place November 4th through November 7th!  

During this special week, we invite our future professionals, staff, clients, and community members to join us once again in supporting those who need it most. Every donation—big or small—helps provide food, comfort, and hope to local families this holiday season. 

Donations made at our Largo and St. Pete campuses will continue to support Hope Villages of America, a local non-profit dedicated to serving individuals and families facing food insecurity, lack of affordable housing, and domestic violence situations. Hope Villages of America’s programs work tirelessly to feed and house members of our local community, ensuring that those in need receive the care and support they deserve. 

This year, we’re proud to expand our annual food drive to include our new Bradenton campus. A new location means a fresh opportunity to give back to a community that has welcomed us with open arms. All donations collected in Bradenton will benefit The Food Bank of Manatee—the only food bank and the largest hunger-relief organization in Manatee County. The Food Bank of Manatee partners with over 100 local agencies and relies entirely on community support to keep their shelves stocked. 

When we come together, we make a lasting impact. Whether you’re donating non-perishable items or spreading the word, your support helps ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. Together, we can continue to make a difference—one meal at a time. 

The Heart of AIB: Beauty Beyond the Classroom 

At AIB, we believe in teaching more than technique. Our future professionals don’t just learn how to style hair, apply makeup, or perfect a facial—they learn how to touch lives. Initiatives like Cut Out Hunger help our future professionals understand the deeper meaning of beauty: compassion, connection, and community. 

Every can donated, every bag packed, and every helping hand reflects what we stand for — a community of individuals dedicated to lifting others up and creating a positive impact inside and outside our campuses.
