Types of Funding
AIB is proud to offer a variety of ways to pay for your education:
Financial Aid
We offer financial aid to those who qualify in eligible programs. When you think of financial aid, do you think of loans? You might be surprised to learn that loans aren’t the only types of aid available through the federal government. Learn more about types of aid below.
Pell Grants
A Pell Grant does not have to be paid back. This is a way of funding your education that doesn’t affect your credit. To find out if you qualify for a Pell Grant, you are required to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). If you want assistance in filling out your application, our Financial Aid Officer can assist you. To learn more about Pell Grants, visit the FAFSA® website.
Student Loans
Loans are a type of aid that will need to be paid back. The amount you receive will be determined by how much you qualify for. To start the process of finding out more about what you may be able to receive, you’ll need to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®). There are different types of loans available, so visit the FAFSA® website to learn more. Need help? Contact us!
Florida Prepaid
Do you have a Florida Prepaid account? You can use it at AIB! These savings accounts are not limited in their use to traditional colleges or university. You can utilize the money your parents have been saving for post-secondary education for beauty school. If you need help understanding or figuring out how to use your Florida Prepaid, just contact us!
Veterans’ Benefits
AIB has been approved for veterans’ training for education benefits. Veterans, dependents of veterans, and survivors of veterans may be eligible.
