Beauty Salon Services

AVN Salon (established in 2011) is a very nice salon that is busy providing professional beauty services to our customers, which may include hair care, skin care, nail care, and hair removal treatments.

A Cosmetologist is preferred, but will consider a Full Specialist or Nail Tech.  A licensed applicant is preferred but will consider those currently in beauty school preparing for exam.  Resume not required. Relative Requirements:

A professional appearance with an attitude aimed at providing excellent customer service each day.

A working knowledge of skin care therapies, hair trends and styling techniques and various beauty brands and products.

A working knowledge of hand, foot and nail care, painting styles, design trends and new techniques.

Excellent communication and people skills to build rapport with clients to retain them and deliver positive customer experiences.

Relative Responsibilities:

Performing hair, skin or nail, services following established guidelines for the service offering, and strive to fulfill guest expectations in the area of grooming, massage, exfoliation, and polish application.

Shampooing, cutting, styling, and coloring hair, as well as massaging and treating scalps.

Performing manicures and pedicures while providing color recommendations and education about foot and nail care.

Applying make-up creating a variety of different looks according to the requests of the client

Keeping each work station and all tools clean and sterile daily. Documenting  sterile events on record for inspection.

Ability to advise clients on suitable hairstyles, nail colors, and skin care regimes.

Promote other spa services and products by suggesting other beneficial treatments and products offered.

Maintain inventory and inform manager about product needs in a timely manner.

Maintain and increase knowledge of hair, skin and nail care and possess a complete knowledge of all spa services and products offered.
