AVN Salon seeks a Licensed Cosmetologist, who is independent to build and run their own business within the beauty salon.  Position is high commission based, so earnings are in your control.  Partnership/management opportunity considered.  Flexible hours possible.  Interviews scheduled at 6pm, Monday through Saturday.  Contact Pearl at 727-518-6644

You will provide beauty services to our customers, which may include hair care/styling, skin care, nail care, and hair removal treatments.  To be successful, you should have a wide range of skills in beauty services, good communication skills, and the ability to advise clients on suitable hairstyles, nail colors, and skin care regimes.

Relative Requirements:

A professional appearance with an attitude aimed at providing excellent customer service each day.

A certification and license in a cosmetology, aesthetic, or beauty related field.

A working knowledge of skin care therapies, hair trends and styling techniques and various beauty brands and products.

A working knowledge of hand, foot and nail care, painting styles, design trends and new techniques.

Excellent communication and people skills

Relative Responsibilities:

Performing hair, skin and nail, services following established guidelines for the service offering, and strive to fulfill guest expectations in the area of grooming, massage, exfoliation, and polish application.

Building rapport with clients to retain them and deliver positive customer experiences.

Shampooing, cutting, styling, and coloring hair, as well as massaging and treating scalps.

Performing manicures and pedicures while providing color recommendations and education about foot and nail care.

Apply make-up creating a variety of different looks according to the requests of the client

Maintain and increase knowledge of hair, skin and nail care and possess a complete knowledge of all spa services and products offered.

Keeping your work station and tools clean and sterile daily.

Promote other spa services and products by suggesting other beneficial treatments offered.

Maintain inventory and inform manager about product needs in a timely manner.
