Kari is the Campus Director at the St. Pete campus and has been part of the AIB team for almost three years! She holds her Cosmetology license and has over 44 years of experience in the industry. To her, the most rewarding part of her position is the ability to watch future professionals grow their knowledge and confidence to then graduate and become successful!

When it comes to the beauty industry, Kari loves the constant change and evolution of styles; and watching the trends eventually cycle back throughout the years.

Kari’s extensive background in the beauty industry includes salon ownership for over 20 years, lead Cosmetology Instructor, state exam proctor, creation of written tests, curriculum updates, and community partnership building with local salons. She has also participated in multiple different trainings with Redken, attending the Redken Exchange in Manhattan, New York and the Redken Symposium in Las Vegas for advanced trainings.

In her spare time, she enjoys rehabbing furniture, loves all things vintage, bicycle riding, and gardening.
