Gone are the days of the Clown contouring and back are the days of the all-natural look. Well, at least that’s what the experts say. The fashion world is definitely trending towards the natural look and you will see this trend on all runways this fall, but clown contouring will never quite leave us. Be sure to brush up on all your natural looks and try using a mineral makeup to lessen the amount of product needed. Airbrush is always another great choice as it is very versatile and can accomplish both the light natural look and the contoured looked. Dinair airbrush is always a huge hit at the Orlando Premier show and Dinair offers classes; both online and at the shows.
Skin care has seen a huge growth in semi-permanent eyelash extensions with new brands coming out daily. This is a great way to expand your business and put extra money in your pocket as a full set of eyelash extensions starts out around $300. Be sure to do your research and try different glues and lashes to find what best works for you. Just be sure to use a hypoallergenic glue as to not cause any reactions to your clients skin. Single eyelashes come in all different shapes and sizes and the highest quality are made of mink. The eyelash extension is applied directly to the individual eyelash not to the skin. These eyelashes will fall off when the natural eyelash sheds. Fills are recommended every 2 to 4 weeks depending on your client’s eyelash life cycle. Many eyelash extension brands offer their own certification course and I definitely recommend taking as many as you can! And are eyebrow extensions going to be the next trend? Decide for yourself.
