Meet American Institute of Beauty, Graduate Ariday Morales
We love taking an opportunity to talk with our fantastic students as they get ready to graduate, and learn more about their plans after finishing school. Recently we were able to talk with Ariday Morales who graduated from our Largo campus in September of 2019! Here’s a look back at her decision to follow her dream of a career in beauty, her school experience, and her plans after graduation.
Choosing A Career In Beauty
When deciding what career path to pursue, Ariday said that the choice was easy. She said that it was “something [she’s] always wanted to do, and something [she’s been] good at since she was little.” Growing up she would practice doing her mom and grandma’s hair, creating a lifelong love of beauty. Now that she has a daughter of her own, she decided to turn her passion into a career.
One of the things Ariday loves most about the beauty industry is that it’s never ending. She says, “I don’t have to worry about getting bored because it’s always changing. There are always new styles and trends that come up.” Learning the newest trends and styles at American Institute of Beauty has been an exciting part of her education.
Ariday’s Experience At AIB
Ariday chose to attend American Institute of Beauty because of the hands on experience at the school. She said the school’s focus on developing well- rounded beauty professionals, not just focusing on one thing, was important to her.
Like many people who choose a career in beauty, Ariday loves the creativity she can express through her work. This was something American Institute of Beauty fostered by giving students the freedom to experiment alongside the hands-on training.
Ariday remembers the teachers being a great influence on her throughout her time at American Institute of Beauty. “[They] will help you find what you like best,” she says. “And push you to get better.”
Ariday’s Advice
Now that Ariday is finished with school, she has some advice for others looking to pursue a career in the beauty industry like her.
“…It’s going to be worth it. Focus on what you need to do and make a plan,” she says. “You already know what you need to do every day and week to stay on track.”
What’s Next?
Ariday has big plans for the future and feels that she can do anything! She is planning on working at a salon and spa so she has the opportunity to do hair, nails, lashes, and everything in between!
