What is a Full Specialist?

A Full Specialist is someone who has the unique opportunity to beautify BOTH skin and nails under ONE license! This license is one that increases your marketability in the beauty industry since you receive training in two areas: skin and nails. Be the all-in-one beauty provider for your clientele!

How Do I Become a Full Specialist?

After meeting the requirements to enroll, you must first complete our Full Specialist program, which is offered at both of our campuses conveniently located in Largo and St. Petersburg Florida.

In the nail portion of our program, you will learn:

  • Advanced nail enhancement (acrylic, gel, etc.)
  • Nail art and design
  • Electric filing
  • Polishing techniques
  • Spa manicures
  • Spa pedicures
  • Natural nail care
  • Safety and sanitation

In the skin portion of the program, you will learn:

  • Facials
  • Chemical peels
  • Microdermabrasion
  • LED light therapy
  • Full body waxing
  • Dinair® airbrush makeup
  • Body treatments
  • Health and wellness/aromatherapy
  • Safety and sanitation

You will also have the opportunity to become certified in Bella Lash eyelash extensions*. You can elect to take our Makeup Artistry bootcamp* and Brazilian Waxing* class and receive additional certificates. The possibilities are endless with a Full Specialist license!

How Long Does It Take to Become a Full Specialist?

The full specialist program at American Institute of Beauty can be completed in as little as 4 months*! We offer full-time and part-time day or night classes for ease and schedule flexibility.
