Detra is the night Phase 2 Cosmetology Educator at the Largo Campus and has been part of the AIB Team for almost 6 months. She is a licensed Cosmetologist, holds an Associate’s degree, and has been in the beauty industry for 32 years! To her, the most rewarding part of being an educator is that she is able to share her knowledge to help her students learn and sharpen their skills.

When it comes to the beauty industry, Detra loves the freedom to be creative and the ability to make people feel beautiful!

In her spare time, Detra thoroughly enjoys playing guitar, cooking and music!
