Diavonna is the Night Nail Educator at the St. Pete Campus and joined the AIB team almost six months ago! With 5 years of experience in the beauty industry, she is passionate about changing lives through education, building community, and helping others pursue their passions. Diavonna is currently continuing her own education as well, studying Business at St. Petersburg College and Generative AI through IBM.

Diavonna loves the beauty industry because it brings people together who are driven, creative, and committed to growing into their best selves. She especially values the night program, where she and her students show up after full days of “real life” responsibilities, all with the shared goal of elevating their futures. For her, the most rewarding part of what she does is being surrounded by like-minded individuals who are determined to build something bigger for themselves.

She is also dedicated to expanding her skillset, holding certifications in Generative AI with IBM, Dazzle Dry, and working as a Madam Glam affiliate. Diavonna describes herself best as a lifelong learner—always evolving, always striving for more.

Outside of the classroom, Diavonna enjoys event planning, writing, and creating custom content for The Sims, blending creativity with her love for storytelling and design.

A proud late ‘90s baby from South St. Pete, Diavonna is motivated by a powerful purpose: to show her daughter that anything is possible when you go after it with your whole heart.
