Melanie is the day Nail Technology Educator at the St. Pete Campus. She is a licensed Nail Specialist and has 30 years of experience in the beauty industry! Melanie has been part of Team AIB for almost three years.

To her, the most rewarding part of being an educator is having students who want to learn every aspect of nails. She says this makes education fun for her and she enjoys learning from her students, too!

When it comes to the beauty industry, Melanie says that she takes pleasure in making people happy, but most of all, she loves the lifelong friends she has met in the beauty business, whether it be coworkers or clients.

Melanie also prides herself on her involvement in the annual Premiere Orlando beauty show. In the past, she has consistently participated in the show’s competitions and even won a medal!

In her spare time, she is devoted to fitness! She has been a group fitness instructor for 15 years and teaches a plethora of classes including kickboxing, step aerobics, group weight training, and silver sneakers. Melanie also enjoys getting together with friends for brunch or to see live music.
