Tavia is the Financial Aid Officer at the St. Pete campus where she has been part of the AIB Team for almost a year! With six years of experience in the beauty industry, including her work as a makeup artist, Tavia brings a genuine appreciation for the kindness, creativity, and connection that make this industry so special. What she finds most rewarding about her role is helping prospective future professionals’ step outside of their comfort zones and take meaningful steps toward accomplishing goals they’ve always dreamed of.

When it comes to the beauty industry, Tavia loves the welcoming and creative community it fosters, where people are encouraged to grow, express themselves, and support one another while building a future they’re proud of.

In her spare time, Tavia enjoys expressing her creativity and staying active through a variety of hobbies, including cooking, exercising, fashion, drawing, painting, makeup artistry, tending to her plants, and crocheting.

She lives by the words “Ubuntu” and “Carpe Diem,” philosophies that guide her compassion for others and her approach to embracing each day with purpose.
